The robotic project focusses on how to fully integrate EM NDE with robotic technologies and exploit emerging augmented and mixed reality (XR) technologies to deliver quantified inspection results to industrial users.

The project goal is to demonstrate a robot arm autonomously inspecting a previously unseen complex industrial part. Position augmented data from this demonstration will then be viewed remotely in XR in real time.
